Monday 19th July we celebrated the 'plurality' between the parishes of Burghfield and Sulhamstead. This means that Revd Gill Lovell is now Rector of St Mary's Burghfield and Rector of St Mary's Sulhamstead Abbots and Bannister with Ufton Nervet.

 

The celebrations were led by the Bishop of Reading, Rt Revd Stephen Cotterell, beginning with prayers at St Mary's Burghfield. A group then walked to St Mary's Sulhamstead, via Burghfield Common, culminating with a celebratory service of thanksgiving at Sulhamstead.

 

The other ministers Revd Peter Dewey, Revd Anthony Peabody and Kevin Lovell are also now licensed to both parishes
